We Two Kings of Wixey & Lee
We two kings of Wixey and Lee,
Welcomed two team to play against we,
First St Albans,
They're the crazy ones,
Those B team coaches of three,
Sutton Coldfield we welcomed too
For travelling both, we really thank you,
Teas from warm cups,
Onto the warm ups,
First up, St Albans in blue.
Oh....oh.....Boakes and Werner, Mulraney,
Ball and Mason, Kennedy,
Jones and Villiers, Taylor, Fisher,
Last but not least there's Bee.
A scrappy start from both of the teams,
Great strike from Villiers slightly redeems,
Chances created,
Gloucester frustrated,
Until a goal of dreams.
Good work from Taylor on the right,
Over to Werner whose eyes were alight,
Torn asunder,
Goal of wonder,
Nothing felt but delight.
Oh....oh.....Boakes and Werner, Mulraney,
Ball and Mason, Kennedy,
Jones and Villiers, Taylor, Fisher,
Last but not least there's Bee.
A great game by Ball, it can't be ignored,
But just at the end, St Albans scored,
Game completed,
Not defeated,
Two-one result was roared.
A rest for us as we got to see,
Our visiting teams play their own thirty,
Sutton winning,
Has them grinning,
Just in time to play we.
Oh....oh.....Boakes and Werner, Mulraney,
Ball and Mason, Kennedy,
Jones and Villiers, Taylor, Fisher,
Last but not least there's Bee.
The final game saw chances galore,
Other days we'd easily score four,
Villiers and Bee,
Fisher and Kennedy,
All somehow failed to score.
Would we waste this? Both coaches said,
Then up-stood someone with his head,
Taylor's dead-kick,
Muller's head-flick,
Meant that we won instead.
Oh....oh.....boys of wonder, boys of might,
Starred with royal beauty bright,
Through stormy weather,
Altogether,
Things are now feeling right.
Oh....oh.....Boakes and Werner, Mulraney,
Ball and Mason, Kennedy,
Jones and Villiers, Taylor, Fisher,
Last but not least there's Bee.
