Hounslow 0-5 Gloucester B
Gloucester’s B Squad recorded a comfortable victory in west London, getting their Geoff Richards League campaign off to a successful start by defeating Hounslow.
The visitors played some fine football, particularly in the first half and took the lead when Josh Ansermoz netted his first goal of the season from the edge of the box.
Taite Fortey gave Finley Williamson the opportunity to drive in Gloucester’s second to give the away side a two-goal cushion at the break and shortly after the resumption, Williamson made it three from Jarvis Randall’s cross.
With Ollie Limbrick giving little away at the back, Jack Sargeant in the city goal was rarely threatened and the visitors added a fourth when Leo Taylor neatly converted another right wing cross from Randall.
Shamar Thomas headed home Fortey’s free kick to put the gloss on a fine all-round display from the city side shortly before the final whistle.
