Bath B 4-2 Gloucester B by Romulus & Remus
Both teams started well, Bath playing to their strengths with quick passing and Gloucester playing to theirs with hard, battling tackles.
With the only moment of sloppiness from Gloucester in the first half, Bath took the lead when Smith found himself free on the edge of the area to loop a shot over Cornwell.
The visitors responded well, creating a few chances via Easterbrook and Lock. However it was Arrowsmith's low shot that was parried into Fieldhouse’s path, the midfielder slotting home the rebound.
A very lacklustre first ten minute of the second half saw Gloucester concede three goals. A half volley from the edge of the area, a long range effort into the bottom left corner and a close range effort saw Gloucester pay for their sloppy start.
The last twenty minutes once again saw the city team equal Bath's effort and chances for Lock, Taylor and Easterbrook were once again thwarted.
However a brilliant tackle from star performer Inyinbor was the start of the final goal of the game. His pass to Easterbrook saw the ball quickly on to Lock. His touch round the defender and inward pass to Fieldhouse was equalled by a calm and collected finish.
Both teams continued to pressurise each other's goal, but Inyinbor, Irvine and Cornwell did well to stop the hosts adding to their tally and keep the score at 4-2.
