Away at Castle Vale,
The team Aston await,
The little boys of our Gloucester,
Played some football, so great.
The rain in the grey sky,
Did not get in our way,
Fisher getting two goals quick,
Had us all cheering "Yay!!"
The home team are blowing,
The away team awake,
Fisher, Jones, Taylor and Bee,
Lots of chances they make.
Love this, thinks Coach Harris,
Simple football to watch,
With Werner and Taylor,
So far playing topnotch.
We cheer thee Balalala,
A great goal made it three,
Followed by a Mullers free-kick,
Hit the bar, unlucky.
The ball is won by Werner,
Given to Fisher to score,
Skips round one, two, three players,
and hits home - makes it four.
The back five of Boakes and Mullers,
Werner, Mason and Ball,
All stayed very alert to,
Their attacks that we'd stall.
The third-third comes together,
Each boy playing their part,
Shots by Taylor, Bee and JK,
Keepers' saves - a fine art.
Thy fav goal of the whole game,
Finished nicely by Jones,
Set-up by JV and Mason,
Quick one-twos, Wixey condones.
A sixth goal from the right side,
JV's ball down to Bee,
His cross lands with JK,
His finish adds to the spree.
The last goal for the Yellows,
Werner's passing was ace,
JV's shot was rebounded,
To Captain Jones for his brace.
A mention to our keeper,
Who had little to do,
But swept so well when he needed,
And smiled right the way through.
Bless all these dear children,
In thy 'somewhat' care,
A clean sheet and scored seven,
A great performance, I declare.
